We have a network of current and former correctional officers who have worked in various correctional settings, including federal, state, and county levels. Our Correctional Security Officers are licensed as noncommissioned and commissioned security officers by the Texas DPS. They receive additional training at our academies and the required training at their institution’s correctional academies. They are also required to take refresher courses on topics such as Use of Force, OPI, PREA, Classification, Count Procedure, STG, Special Inmate Population, Lockdowns, Contraband and Searches, Offender Mail Procedure, Visitation, Searches, and Suicide Prevention.
